Here is the new tank ready to go! The tank was wiped down with vinegar, primed with zinc based self-etching primer, and then all but the top was sprayed with undercoating. The original top-tank pad was transferred to the new tank. The installation was a breeze! Just for fun we checked the operation of the new sending unit before the tank was installed and were thrilled to see the dash gas gage actually work!
