This what a 1961 Chrysler power window motor and transmission looks like with the transmission cover removed. It has a worm gear and a larger round nylon gear. Between the electric motor and the geared unit there's a black rubber cylinder. This cylinder connects the motor shaft with the transmission shaft and helps to eliminate vibration. Each shaft has a flat spot that corresponds to the "D" cutouts in each end of the cylinder so they don't slip when under pressure.
