Suzuki Diesel Bike!
Pictures are large so be patient and do not pop up in their own window......
-Suzuki diesel motorcycle videos at the bottom of the page- 1st, get rid of the gas engine.
Test fit of the diesel into the factory frame.. The following is a shot of the rear install... Function first - pretty later.. July 4th, 2005. Real world cruising speed is 50 - 60 mph. Most folks say it has a sound of it's own although some have said it sounds "mean", "rumpety", or "like a school bus".?! Fuel economy: 104 plus mpg! (Over 300 miles per tank!) This is running it fairly hard around town, hilly-twisty camp roads, and on open highway.
The completed bike less mirrors, belt and some trim stuff...
Right Side 1 Left Side 1 August 10th, 2005 Added some "Diesel Emblems and decals" to give the bike a "Factory Look"!

***Priceless shot of trip odometer mileage and fuel guage reading! August 27th, 2005 Here are some pictures of myself on the bike. At this date, there's just over 5000 miles on this conversion. A close up of me wearing my awesome helmet from Frank And finally - The ultimate shot suitable for framing - don't miss this one! Videos of the Suzuki Motorbike in action!!!(** Bike has over 7000 miles since July 05, 2005 and is averaging 115 mpg!) Driving by pyrometer at about 1000 degrees will significantly reduce smoke. These videos were mostly shot during hard throttling to show smoke. If Windows Media Player pops up to play these videos, go to "View", then "Video Size", and set it at 100%. Using the 200% yields a "grainy" video and you can't truly appreciate the uphill smoke out! Downhill pass gives a good visual on speed (65 mph) 253KB Another downhill pass at 65 followed by a steep uphill climb under full load! RPM's hold steady! 510KB On the highway with speedometer reference 1067KB If you look for the finer points, this video is just plain beautiful!!! Hahaha! 536KB
